Hi, my name is Neina. This is the 1st time I've done anything like this, but hoping it'll be a good experience. My life is chaotic and I need some1 who knows a little about what I'm going through. My son is 7 and has just been diagnosed. It was devastating to me, but the info packets gave me many answers. LKS has affected his relationships with his peers, and affects all of mine. Kids sometimes stare at him and ask, "What is wrong with you?" He gets sad sometimes, but he has many friends. At the same time, kids don't want to be around him cause he's "different". He can be aggressive at times and his speech isn't always understandable. I could go on and on. I've come to realization that we need to take 1 day at a time knowing that he's constantly changing.
