Hello,

I was just diagnosed about 3 weeks ago with lactose intolerance. I can't even have products that were made in a factory that uses any dairy products. I'm sure there is someone out there that is in the same boat.

After all these years, and now it's very difficult to do anything for fear of an "accident" happening. I also cannot have soy products. I have been working on adjusting my diet, but lactose has a sneaky way of getting into things you wouldn't even think of being there. Needless to say I read every label of everything I eat.

Any advice someone could offer would be greatly appreciated, this is so depressing. Thank you in advance for any advice.

Welcome to our forums. I would suggest you look at what has been posted here. It is timeless when it comes to dealing with this problem.

My daughter has it and she takes a little laxative in the morning (NOT MUCH). She takes pills when she has some dairy.

You have to becareful because you get "stopped up", it is painful.

Welcome once again

I am privileged to be part of this wonderful family. You all help me keep my sanity when the chronic pain puts me into severe depression and pain. I value your opinion and your advice.

I am not a medical doctor or a trained pain management person. I want to give hope as you all have given me hope to live with RSD. DP
