I had a stone that was 1/2 inch wide! As you all know that is BIG. I had Lithotripsy done on the 4th of this month. I have had a heck of a time passing all of the sand that was created. In fact, I still have my 3rd stent in. I'm going monday to hopefully see nothing on the x-ray, and then remove it. The first time I went to the ER, they gave me a shot of Deloted.? I'm not sure how to spell it. I told them all y'all have done is add dizzyness to my pain. They then gave me a shot of Toradol. Within a couple of minutes the pain was allmost gone. My 2nd trip to the ER was the same scenario, they first made me dizzy, then gave me Toradol. A few minutes later, pain was gone and I then passed out. lol Toradol is a non narcotic anti-inflamatory. It is very strong, and has severe ''POSSIBLE'' side affects. Thats why it's not recominded to take for long periods.
