My daughter had been drinking the “SanLu” milk powder–highest toxicity brand within all toxic milk powders in China–total for two years and ten months untill the toxicity was published! Now she is three and half years old.

I’m so eager to request a help! I hope somebody could give me this great help! I hope to get some contact information about a doctor or person who could know how to cure my daughter!

Now I’m writting the following symptom about my daughter’s body:

There is not stone found in her kidney(maybe we have a very good feeding method so that the stone does not occur in her kidney at present).But she has strong Chronic toxicity Symptoms. Because I’m not in the medical field, I never think she got toxicity from milk until Chinese government broadcast this information and I stopped feeding her this milk anymore.

I fund she has been suffering the problem of Eye, skin and respiratory irritant for a very long time. Now her skin is still very dry not like a child’s skin especialy on her feet. Itchy and has a lot of Rash/Pimple on her skin. She has a stone in her inner left lower eye-lip(I found it maybe about half years ago), 24th, oct, 2008, I checked her left eye-lip again, seems some more stones maybe growing, not sure.

She had her eyes itchy frequently some time and several times had blood occur in her eyeballs.

She had long time respiratory problem like a flu. After stopped the milk powder, her respiratory problem suddenly became better but her body still weaker than the time before she had this toxic milk powder.

Her Stool was dry and black before stopped the toxic milk and yellow after stopped the toxic milk.

Because English article mentioned that “Melamine is described as being Harmful if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Chronic exposure may cause cancer or reproductive damage…”,Now I have been worrying about her skin and the possible bladder cancer or reproductive damage!

Is there anybody could give me some information or help me to contact some doctor who may know that how to reduce the toxicity from her body, if possible to recover her skin, etc. In China I asked some doctors, no one knows how to reduce the toxicity from her body, no one doctor knows that Melamine could cause skin problem, no one doctor knows how to reduce

My daughter of 5-year old is in a similar situation as yours. She lives in the U.S., but went to China for a couple of months in March, 2008, and since then she is diagnosed with a disease named "Goodpasture's Syndrome", and has accute kidney failure. She is being treated in a very good hospital in San Francisco. She als had similar symptoms before, flu-like coughs, dry and itchy skin. She does not have stones in her kidney either, but her kidney disease is caused by exposure to chemicals. That is likely to be Melamine in the milk she drink 2 to 3 boxes a day when she was in China.

For your daughter, it does sound like toxic problem or problem not able to expell toxic. Have you taken her to do a full blood exam (cbc)? Is her CR (Creatinine) and BUN (Blood Urea Nitrogen) numbers fine? If her kidney function is not good, she may have problem expelling the toxic chemicals from her body, and her skin would b itchy and dry because the chemicals/minerals tring to pass. In that case, a dialysis will help. Big hospitals in big cities of China should have kidney (Renal) department. In some cases, if the disease activates antibodies in her body due to exposure to Chemicals, the antibodies may attack both the lungs and the kidney,and will cause flu-like symptoms of coughing, and even coughing up blood.

Hopefully more people will come forward with links between melamine contaminated milk and other medical problems other than kidney stone.

I didn't bring her to do the full blood test. I do not know if some item in the full blood test shows unnormal because of toxic, do you know it?

My daughter didn't do CR and BUN either because her Routine urine examination is normal, I enquired a doctor and he said in this condition, the Kidney function tests were not necessary. But recently, I took her to do Liver function because I felt she had Malnutrition syndrome: couldn't bear the cold weather in this winter, very thick clothes on her body in the room with tempreture around 23˚C, stomachache, eyes pain, ears pain, Stuffy nose with a lot of Nasal secretions, legs pain, etc. After visited chrildrens' docotor, the doctor said that to verify Malnutrition syndrome Liver function test was needed. I took her multi-Amino acids, Calcium medicine and other medicines first because I was busy at that time. After these medicine, one week later, she became better but I found she was afraid of light very much and brought her to do the Liver function test. The results shew that her Aspartate aminotransferase(AST) was a little higher than normal, Alkaline phosphatase is much higher than normal which means her bone is lack of much calcium.

Recently, she became better but still has the skin problem—dry and itchy and eyes problem--does not like light. I kept her urine around one month ago and I found Crystals after 20days holding. I plan to do test but I couldn’t find an agency which would like to do this test. I also think in her blood and hair, there are some toxic material. But I couldn’t find an agent which would like to do this kind of test. Do you know is there agency can do this kind of test in USA?
