Hmmm, I am a 48 yr old, married father of two teens (with one extra teen living with us),I was diagnosed with kidney cancer on 30 Sep 08, (last week) and the doc will be removing my left kidney on 24 Oct. I am not looking forward to being down sick as I run a business and work full time. I can't say that I fear it much as I am an "all in" Christian and truly believe that God's will "will be done." I just wish the surgery and recovery was over as I have things to do, places to go etc.

I have been looking on here just to see how things are with others, and to get some idea of the scope of this disease.

Thank you all for your great insights and advice!

Joe
