Hello. I am 36 and have just been diagnosed with stage 1 kidney cancer. I schedule for surgery after Christmas. I am a patrol officer and have two pre-teen boys. Needless to say, I am scared to death. I'm still not over the initial shock. (of cancer, not pre-teen boys, haha). I'm looking for direction of strength, I guess. I know in my head I am a very lucky person to have been able to have it discovered this early. It doesn't seem to bring me that much comfort. I look forward to meeting all of you and hope you had a wonderful holiday. God Bless  |
