Gramma,

The emotions you are having are normal. I was DX in July 07 with TCC had my left kidney removed only to have it show up in my bladder. Now it is wait and watch and go to every checkup. I know it's hard and that's why we are here for each other. Would be more than happy to talk more with you.

Barb

Barb, I'm Sam3. My husband has Stage 4 Mrcc. We are dealing with it. Sometimes it feels like a dream but I don't wake up. I'm retired from teaching. Husband dx in 4-08, 5 days after I officially retired from 36 years of teaching. What a retirement gift! I know that we are all busy but try to answer me if you can. lol Sam3

Hi Barb, I'm sorry that it has gone to your bladder. Just be as positive as you can and hopefully the treatments will do their job.

I'm cancer free so far. my cancer doctor is keeping an eye on me every 6 months. We do blood tests and a full body scan. So far so good, but the experience has left me with the shakes and depression. The depression is getting better, I just get up in the mornings and kick myself in the butt and say get going. I haven't found a part time job yet because alot of people won't hire a 60 year old. I use to waitress, but that is out of the question now. I just don't seem to have the energy to do much of anything. I used to crochet all the time, but I haven't picked up my crochet hook since the operation in March. Just want to know how long the pain and discomfort last. My doctors are saying from 6 months to over a year. As someone that has been through it, is this true. Did you get back your ambition and energy? Thanks for letting me vent. Appreciate it very much. Thanks Kasthy (Gramma)
