I must admit, when my Dr told me to check the Mayo Clinic, I was excited. As my Dr said, who better, the Mayo Clinic is on the forefront of everything. Now that I have checked the Mayo Clinic, I must admit I was quite disappointed, I have found better articles on other sites. I will post them soon.

Here is what the Mayo Clinic says:

Keratoconus occurs when the center of the cornea thins and gradually bulges outward, developing a rounded cone shape. This abnormal shape of the cornea causes moderate to severe blurring and distortion of vision. Mild vision problems can be corrected with eyeglasses. Moderate to severe cases of keratoconus may require specially fitted contact lenses to improve vision. In some cases, severe keratoconus may require a corneal transplant.

That's it, that's all, just one brief paragraph. I was let down, disappointed, and where I had hope for information to share and to use with my son, I was let hopeless.

But, I have been checking other sites, and have found some good information, and I will be posting that information soon. So watch the Articles folder, that is where I will put them.

Big Hugs to all!!

Pamela {please}

I wish tons of love and hugs!
