Hi Sassy, I dont know if you can go through menopause more than one time. I think that when you first have a hysterectomy, your hormones get thrown off balance. If it was a total hysterectomy then they are really out of wack!  If you still have your ovaries, then they slowly stop producing hormones and make you go through a menopause again. I had a partial hysterectomy in 2005. Then due to cysts in my pelvic area, they removed one of my ovaries. The other one must have been bad because I went through wicked menopause symptoms!
