I also have fibromyalgia too, thyroid probs and wear and tear to spine and shoulders and probally all over lol... my lower back hurts like mad which is also what wakes me up Sad the sacrilum area .. does anyone with lots of adhesions reconize this pain cos to be honest l waste my time going to my gp cos all they do is test my urine and because lm waiting for the op nothing else... Before my hysterectomy I was having a severe sharp pain on my L side and they did several ultrasounds and CT scans but couldnt find anything. They thought it was all in my head. When I had my hysterectomy they found that I had Adhesions on my L side.My L ovary and Fallopian tube was fused to my pelvic wall and uterus. There is hope to be pain free.Since the surgery Ive been pain free.I asked why they couldnt find that sooner. They said that the adhesions dont come up on ultrasounds and CT scans because it is made up of just skin.Hope this helps Smile

Six Laporoscopy's to remove Adhesions. Ive tried Depo Shot, Birth Control, Then Lurpon. Im only almost 2wk post-op and im hoping to finally be pain free. I did every test possible, before having my hysterectomy ! Now Just trying to get through this time and see how much this surgey will be worth it

I still have some bladder pain when I urinate - but that is from a bladder tumor that I had removed in January of 2003 (my hyster was in Oct 2004). Since then my bladder aches when it is overly full or if my urine stream is to fast. I did have massive pain from the adhesions caused from the endo & the multiple surgeries after the hyster to remove more endo & more adhesions. As long as the only surgery you are having is the hyster, your pain will disappear. Since the last laporoscopy (sp?) that I had a few years back, my pain is gone. Well, occasionally I have some pain attacks, but they are very few & very far between.

Here when you need me,

Cathy
