Hi, I am new to this forum-and I have had continued problems since a vehicle accident-and I have just been diagnosed with a thyroid problem. Has anyone else had this happen to them, if so please PM me.
The thyroid can be damaged in an accident and that may lead to a thyroid problem. Another possibility is an issue with the pituitary gland, which produces TSH, which in turn controls the thyroid; if you don't have the right amount of hormone stimulating your thyroid (TSH), your thyroid wouldn't be working properly.
