Hello Nicole ~~~ Smile

To my knowledge, I do not personally know anyone that recieves disability strictly due to a thyroid condition. I would think a person would have to incur other health issues combined with the thyroid problem in order for them to bad enough they weren t able to work.

That is just my opinion but I m sure there will be others along soon to shed more light on the issue.

Glad you re here ~~~ Hope you re feeling well today !!!

Marilyn

Hi

Sorry about your job. It must very frustrating having to live without a job and meds to pay for.

I've came across that hypos got approved as disability, but the one that I came across are hypopituitary.

I hope you can also get the same approval for hypothyroid.

Hope you feel better today.

curious10. I don't know either that a person with just hypo can get disability. Most states do not consider hypo as a disability. But if hypo has caused a body organ to not function proper or for it to fail and the person can't work yes then can get disability. But it will be very very hard to get.

Curious10, if you manage to get the approval (I hope you do), please share with us. It will be good knowledge for all of us. Take care.
