Hi. I wanted to share my symptoms and see if anyone can relate or offer any knowledge. My TSH level is 4.5. I get extraordinary feelings of being on edge, at the same time being very fatigued. I get dizzy, fuzzy, and have difficulty concentrating. I am not motivated and feel very down. My appetite stinks but I have gained weight. Generally, I feel crappy. Any comments or advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi singlar welcome to the group. Your THS level is high. What you are feeling is very normal. After meny blood test that you will go through and raising you meds you will start to feel better but it will take time this can't be rushed. Just hang in there. You will be ok.

Thanks for your reply. When I first started feeling this junk, I thought I had some incurable disease. I don't think I have ever felt so overall lousy. My doctor also told me to be patient.

Im sorry to say that it is incurable. I will have it for the rest of my life. But once you get stable its like you never had it. You will just have to take meds for the rest of your life. But i have heard that some people do get off the meds. And live a normal life.

You do have to be patient and be very good about taking your meds. I will tell you that at times you may need med adjustments and you still may have symptoms now and then but they won't be as bad and should go away quickly. Just listen to your body, don't ignore new symptoms, etc. Feel free to pm me if you have any questions or want to talk privately.
