MDJunction to me

cinderella"MDJunction to me is a life saver... when i first was diagnosed with Scheuermann's Disease i wrote a message to a page i found on google, hoping that they could help me.... you'd never know it but that weird feeling (you know that one where it feels like someone actually cares) came over me when i opened my email next day to find that someone on the other side of the world (at the American Medical Library)had read my message while i was sleeping, and there low and behold was the address to MDJunction.... well it is everything to me, i live it breathe it and love it!!!!! I have found many people who are struggling with similar issues banding together to help each other. It is the best place in the world, and i couldn't think of another place to go to meet so many lovely people....

thanks MDJunction

Hello, I have taken a blood test a few days ago and was hoping my levels were high so I could understand why I feel like crap again. Turns out my levels were low/normal. I feel worse than I have ever felt, I don't know what to say to my dr for him to understand. I'm at an all time high when,it comes to weight gain, any advice?

PS. Every symptom for hashis, hypoglycemic plus other issues that are undiagnosed. Not just weight gain

Hi Malorie

Sorry....this is hard. I can't imagine anyone could live with so many symptoms (((( Malorie )))).

As we all know, symptoms overlaps to many diseases. Idk about epileptic, but focusing particularly niched within the specific symptoms like sensitivity to lights and sounds, the swellings, spasms, sensitive to pain, rapid weight gain...could it be fibromyalgia?

Those hypoglycemic symptoms, insomnia, sensitivity to lights, are also symptoms for hypo adrenal. Emm...that's a lot of work to do. I hope the neuro can figure out something to help you.

Hugs.

Thanks pinkapple for the quick response, I could ask my dr about fibro. My mom had juvenile r.a I thought maybe I do too? I was also tested for lupus and sgorgens or however u spell it and it was negative. My doctor gets a crazy idea in his head and becomes gung ho over it, instead of other possibilities. That's why he keeps referring me to specialists. I just recently asked him to test my Cortisol levels he said wait til you see the endo have her test you...,

hello, i just wanted to say that 4 years ago i was in your shoes i had all the symptoms above i even had suicidial symptoms these were the worst. Anyway, 4 years later , i probably have 5 of the symptoms mentioned above. I was on synthroid when all the symptoms attacked me. I was really depress i was going to my primary doctor and he was telling that i needed to see to psych. i cried and i pleaded to him that this was not the case that i really was feeling these symptoms and that something was wrong but i did not know what it was. After doing so much research i found a holistic doctor after seeing this doctor for 3 years i can say that i feel 80% better for me this was great. I am currently on compounded thyroid medications. I still get heart pal., air hnger etc . I really do know what u are going through and its harder when people just dont know what u are going through.

What was your diagnosis for everything? Or was it just the synthroid? I'm glad you are better now. My dr is a d.o not holistic but has some views of holistic and md. I know how you feel about suicidal thoughts, but my kids are keeping me grounded. I try to be positive but its so hard.
