Just curious what your insurance required to be prescribed GH. I have an IGF-1 level of 130 which is quite low for age 22. Could anyone tell me what they had to do to get their doctor to RX GH? I know a GH stimulation test is sometimes given. I see my endo tomorrow. Did you have to be out of range low to get treatment?

I think every insurance company may be different. I had the ITT test given that proved that I needed it. I don't know how out of range you have to be because I had none Smile
I'm glad to share my experience, but I am not a doctor and you should always consult your own physician.
I am hypopituitary. I take prednisone (supplement with HC), levothyroxine, estrogen, growth hormone and DHEA.
