I started getting the bumps around the end of last year, went to a doctor in January. At first it was just one, she just ignored it either because she didn't see it or she was more concerned about a couple of other sores that ended up being ingrown hairs. Fast forward to last week, I returned to the same doctor (I live on a college campus, no insurance so the school clinic is cheap, this doctor is the ONLY doctor in the Women's Clinic.) and she diagnosed me with what I figured I had the entire time; warts.

She uses an acid treatment. Painful as hell, but it was cheap and I finally got rid of those horrendous bumps! She warned me that they would shrivel and fall off, leaving behind a small sore. Problem being she did not control the acid very well when she applied it. I now have two very sizable sores, one just outside the lower part of my vagina and one next to the anus. They are just about 3/4 the size of a dime and have been causing fairly moderate discomfort. I have been using a prescription grade antibiotic, like neosporin, for the past week in the hopes of keeping them from infection as well as minimizing scarring and to quicken the healing process, and the sores still look raw and red. Everywhere else has healed and is fine. I was wondering if this was normal, or if I should spend the extra money to go to a better doctor so as to avoid this next time? (as two more warts have appeared since last week) Has anyone else experienced this problem?

As for the reappearance of the nasty buggers, I'm losing my mind. I've known almost from the start that it was warts and it's been driving me into the ground. I've found two more since visiting the doctor last Monday. My self esteem has just about hit ground level, if not lower, because I can't help but think to myself 'what would they think of me if they knew?' It seems that I can't get rid of them; after a misdiagnosis the first time and her lack of observation the second time, alongside the pain of the treatment, I don't know what to do.
