...i hope that it is ok to post...i relise that this is in womans heath...im 25 male....i just got out of a 5 yrs relationship just apparoaching a month ago...my ex gf had slept with 2 guys that i know of during times which we had taken a week break...some time last yr she went to the doctors saying somthing was wrong...and was told she had hpv...i did my best to be supportive....but i was angry inside...she was the first girl i had been with so to my knowledge she didnt get it from me...her mistake now was somthing i could accept or not...i loved her and stayed with her knowing that i was putting myself at risk of getting it...so anyways now its been a month since i ofund out she was cheating on me...and like 2 weeks ago i noticed to small bumps...i kinda figured what it was....but i just.....i couldnt accept it at first...all i had done for her and she cheated on me and now...i probabaly had an std she got from some guy.....yesterday i went to my doctor and he confirmed it....sorry for that long intro.....i asked my doctor alota questions but he didnt really answer them......yestrday i feel like i hit rock bottom...everything ive done was to make a home for my ex and myself...im 25 i have my own home...a good job...i wasent a drunk or a druggy i never hit her....i coulda have gave her more attention...but...i just feel like 5 yrs wasted and i was feeling like really bad when i foubnd out she was cheating now i have this and i.idk what to do with myself i feel like no girl is gonna want to be with me ever again.....anyways.....my questions where........is there testing for males to find out what type of hpv i have....my doctor prescribed me aldara.....does this clear up the hpv or just the two lil bumps i have...will i still have an out break after these go away....how do i.....gett my life back to normal...i litterally layed on the couch for over 12hrs yesterday...i feel so stressed that when i stand up i get light headed and dizzy like im going to black out...my chest feels funny...which i guess is just heart breeak....i just want to feel like my hole world didnt just fall down on me.......any response would be greatfull....

I am so sorry for you, but being as I am on this site I to have it.....have no ideal who gave it to me, but would guess it was my cheating husband....I heard once you get rid of it you still have it but maybe won't get any more bumps (warts) hope someone can answer that has it first hand....I have the cancer one....and even with that I was told I need to share this with anyone i plan on having sex with cause they will then be a carrier of the cancer one...won't hurt them but they could give it to the next girl they are with ! be strong because stress isn't good one you, and we are all here to talk with....I know I wasn't much help but just wanted you to know you aren't alone ! I have hpv as well my ex have it to me I found out about four months ago. I have the cancer one..

It seems like you might have warts

I recently went to the doctor, and my doctor told me their is a way for males to check.. You would have to ask for it.. For males there's a fee.. But they do check your anal and your penis to check if you were infected with the cancer one.. Since hpv is related to penile, anal, head and neck cancer.. Most of the time there's no symptoms..

the warts will clear out, but they will come back here and there..

So that's what I read..

Be strong, try not to stress.. Its not healthy..
