I am planning on doing a water fast next month for three days. I'm nervous because I don't know if it is dangerous. I haven't found anything that says it is, matter of fact all I've found is thumbs up on it. If I do it, should I do it before or after my period? I tend to get animic during my cycle, that's why I'm asking.

Help pleeze!

An it harm none, do as thou wilt
Do what you will, so long as it harms none
An it harm none, do what thou will
That it harm none, do as thou wilt
Eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfill, / An it harm none do what ye will.

Hi, Playswithmatches. Good luck with your fast. Sounds like a very bald thing to do, I for one am sure I wouldn't be able to keep it for so long.

If you tend to get anemic and week during your period, then do it AFTER, it would save you potential trouble. Don't even do it immediately after, let your body recover a little, at least a week.

Are you planning on drinking pure water, or are you adding lemon/honey to it? What kind of water, btw? Regular, mineral or purified? Or you don't really care?

I think it's a great way to detoxify your body, and I wish I had your strength.

Please come back and let us know how it goes, maybe I'll take a big breath and try it myself for a day.

GOOOOOOOOOOOD LUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!
