I have really bad breath.

I've tried everything... mints, mouthwashes, ect...

However these are only a temporary solution, sometimes only 30 seconds.

What can I do to not chase people away?

Hi Jack,

I see you have already tried the most common remedy for bad breath: good oral hygiene. Here is another possibility you might find helpful.

Halitosis, the official name for bad breath, is a frequent consequence of gum disease. A warm water sea-salt solution, which will neutralize acids and kill bacteria, says Sandra Senzon, a dental hygienist in New York City and author of Reversing Gum Disease Naturally. Add 1 teaspoon of sea salt to a small glass of warm water and rinse three times a day.

Hope this helps!!!

Some diseases, like diabetes, tonsillitis, disorders of the digestive tract, respiratory or even urinary system can also cause bad breath.

I've recently read an article, entitled Bad Breath May Not Be Your Fault that says some interesting stuff, maybe it's also of help to you.

There are also some fresh breath aids that are taken internally (like MintAsure). Those tend to be more efficient than the traditional mints, but they don't really solve the problem, they just mask it better.

Natural remedies, such as chewing parsley or cordiander (I'm sure there are other herbs that help) can prove (cost-)effective and always at hand.

And, if nothing helps, there's a really bad taste joke you can say to yourself: bad breath is better than no breath at all .

Hello Dragon Breath,

I'm sorry you have this terrible problem...as I did, but no longer!!! The previous suggestions will not help you ...as you probably already know.

This will absolutely help you. I use this and my husband said it is the first time in 4 years (total amount we've known each other) that I haven't had a little funky breath.

Please go to Therabreath.com. I use the toothpaste and rinse during day and night. Before bed I use the nasal spray. The nasal spray is what eliminated the remaining bad breath (after brushing teeth and scoping with commercial products, a few minutes later the bad breath would return). Since using Therabreath products, I no longer worry about dragon breath. This will help you. I know exactly what you're going through.

I bet you still have your tonsils! I do and they were collecting food and ...well, I'll just let you read the source of your bad breath.

All the best to you and happy talking, kissing, etc after you get Therabreath!!

My husband loves it!!!...and so do co-workers. They no longer step away from me.

Helper.

I don't know why your product, Helper, is better than everything else that has been said here. It still masks the symptoms, and not getting to the real cause of things, that could be, among others, diseases of the gastroenteral tract or any internal organs. Don't think that a spray can really fix that... It may kill some local germs (didn't look it up thoroughly), but can it cure sinusitis, gastritis, cavities or periodontal disease?

I don't know either. All I know is that I was desperate and I found this site, read all I could. But when your desperate to eliminate the fowl stench, you never stop searching. All I can say is that it has worked completely for me. I am so happy that I just want to tell everybody that suffers from the same problem because I know EXACTLY how heartbreaking it is to be so embarassed with this kind of problem. I am not doctor, so I can't tell you what it can and cannot cure if anything at all. All I know is that my bad breath is no longer a problem and I am no longer self conscious of talking to people.

I can attest to you that it does not mask the symptoms. But, are you telling me that it masks the bad breath in your case???...Did you actually give it a try?

Well, as long as it doesn't cure the true cause of the bad breath, we can only assume it masks its symptom (that is, bad breath...). Bad breath can be the manifestation of so many illnesses, and, without trying the product, I can safely assume it doesn't cure them all. What it does is hide it, such as painkillers don't go to the root of the problem, but merely "treat" the effect. It may feel good, but it doesn't really solve the problem.

the problem is in your digestive system. you are toxic. clean your colon. you may also have parasites or some mouth bacteria causing the problem. consult an herbalist or naturopath. acupuncture can also help. km
