I am doing very well with my blood pressure.I would like to share some information in how I am keeping it down. The first thing is I am taking my meds, everyday faithfully, and check what it is everyday. For the last couple of day's it has been 133/78 which is very good. I think this could help everyone of you.

I did see that there is someone in the that said they have been having problems with the blood pressure going up at night.I am going to look into that more and I am going to find the answer's to that ???"S I am not a doctor but I am wondering myself why it is doing that.It can be cause by many things and I am wondering..I will post it as soon as I find out....

Hey there Maryanne... this forum sure is quiet... kinda like the high blood pressure killer... Quiet but deadly... I've known that I have had high Blood pressure for a long time, but it has been only in the last couple of years that I've done anything about it...With the meds, HCTZ25/Lisinopril 20mg, keeps it down to normal... I need to loose about 70 lbs, but with my knees and back, swimming is the only exercise that I can do, and don't so I have no one to blame but myself... Take care, Glenn

Glenn, it all takes time we all know that. I am going to tell you like I tell everyone with this problem. "LIFE" is so funny that it throws us curves and we all manage to get through them. Your right through out the years for me I never thought that I would ever have these problems but I do. We can sit a cry about them in which they won't go away they will still be here tomorrow and the next and years to come. But we all have to remember that we have to enjoy "LIFE" now because if we don't it will be to later. Do in what the doctor's are telling you to do and will enjoy life more. I have been on a low cholsetrol diet which i am the group leader for that group as well, I think that you should join that as well.I have lost 6 lbs in 2 weeks and that is by walking and cutting back on my snack like cookies, chips etc. I have been eatting apples, apples sauce, pickles etc. If you really want to do this then ask your doctor for The Traditional Healthy Mediterranean Diet Pyramid and that is what you are to follow. It will tell you what to eat and what not to eat...
