MDJunction to me

HiddenButterfly"All I can say is that this has been the best place ever. It has been six to seven months since I joined, and I have learned so much. I now believe in myself and accept myself on a completely different level. The people on MDJunction has been so supportive and accepting that I have been able to adopt it into my personal life. That has reduced a lot of stress in my life. Thanks to all." (HiddenButterfly)

Cool I am glad to have found you all. My HS is in the waist band/ groin area. I am not exactly sure when I first broke out, over 6 yrs ago. I used to work outside all the time, so I am happy to be in the A/C. I have had one treatment of anti-biotics and nothing happened. I would say I have the tunnels that connect them. Just when I get one feeling better, another will pop up on the other end. Hope to learn all I can and try these aliens. I don't see many men on here, I know I'm not alone in this right. Great to be here.

Thank you

bluesbrother, welcome. I also have my HS in the groin/waist band area. This is definately the cite to go to for info. I am new also, so I am still learing and reading even though, like you, I have had mine for over 6 years but was misdiagnosed. Antibiotics have not helped mine either and only gave me yeast over the years and become immune or allergic to most of the antibiotics. Try reading alot of the older posts where many of the members posts treatments that work for them. We are all individual, so what may be best for one may not work on another. This is an awsome group and everyone seems to be there for one another - even if its just to vent to relieve some of the stress sometimes. Smile

Hello BB! Welcome to our little family! Laughing Yes, we do have a few men on here that like to chime in every now & again. Cal & Steve are the two most active members that I can think of, off the top of my head. No worries though, we are not modest here so feel free to ask away with any questions that you may have! Tongue I have HS on both sides of my groin & on my buttocks (ugh) so I know that pain, literally, that you can speak of. I hope that we get to hear from you soon!

Also, where do you live? Perhaps a member lives close to you & can relate... I live in Oklahoma & our heat wave is killing me! Devil <3 Candace
