Hello everyone,

Just a question, I am curious, has anyone heard of tanning as a treatment for HS? I have heard mixed things about it, but wanted to know if it has worked for anyone. I read somewhere that fake tanning is supposed to make HS better. I don't have time to lie out in the sun, but was considering starting some tanning salon tanning, and if it benefits the HS, then so much the better

Thanks,

Karyn

Hi, Pisces, I have heard of many people using that, along with something called blue light therapy, those that I have heard use the tanning method seem to like it quite a lot.

I heard that others have tried it as well.

But I wont be trying it lol..umm how do I say this? I have a head start in the tanning department lol. I have brown skin.

I tend to be careful doing outdoor activities as I can darken my brown skin easily.

Do you plan on trying it? Or anyone else for that matter?

Hmmm..I shall look up the blue light therapy Carmen mentioned.

Never really heard of it. I know of special lighting used to alleviate depression. Blue light therapy..sounds calming lol.

Check out the blue light, but shutter, I don't believe I would be worried about getting more tanned, if it helps you.

Nah..not worried about it. I like the mix I have now...lol.

Light chocolate brown.

Really don't mind getting darker. I love having fun in the sun.

Will check out what the blue light can do. I am really intrigued.

look it up on the web, like you know, what works for one, might not work for another, but heck it's worth a try.. I have a lot of indian in me so I tend to be olive skinned anyway, get me out in the sun and I am really dark in no time.
