So that bumpie that came last week, was like a golf ball. Right on the left pelvic side just above where the leg meets the torso. So any bending/breathing would shoot pain into me. I hate getting scared by it as well.

The pain gets so bad that I felt ill... Today is the first day the nausea from the pain is gone.

It finally burst Tues. Drizzled blood and I couldn't feel the blood due to the whole area turning purple due to the pain of the golf ball pushing.

Since then it still oozes blood.

However..I did soak Sunday. Did a poultice, before it burst, to alleviate the swelling/inflammation. Before it would take months to get the HS golfball to this point. Carry it around for that long and all the while you battle to function.

At least it was a quick turnaround. Not a big victory. But it is a small victory and with the HS battle going on for so long now, I will take what I can get.

It gives me hope.....some days..

Still tender in the lower ab/left tube side. The leg is slow to move.

I will be honest...man I get so excited about moving..because HS just comes and lets me know what it can do. When it does that..I get scared.

After a little while the fear goes away, then I feel like I can beat the living tar out of HS...hey Carmen..I may even shake it until its teeth fall out. LOL.

Thanks for reading this post. May your pain be minimal and the laughs be abundant.

*hugs* to you....

Girl, you are so brave. I am happy that you are getting some relief, hopefully it will continue to drain without any complications.

I just had someone in my "Body for Life for Women" support group mention zinc glutanate as a supplement, but I don't know anything about it. Going to do some research and see if it might be worthwhile taking for HS.

Thank you for the lovely words of encouragement posted as a reply to my diary, they helped more than you know

I will say a prayer for you,

Karyn

Thanks Carmen & Karyn..

you know what lessened the pain..?

Coming here and seeing what you posted.

I don't feel alone anymore, since coming here. Thank you for that feeling.

Thanks for the encouragement.

Going to wipe away the tears from the pain..and get dinner going.

You know how HS is..it doesn't wait till dinner is on the table ..lol.

Will post under medicine what I know about Zinc...not much but will post

it anyway.

(It has stopped bleeding but the pain is still there. Will let it rest then soak again Saturday. Some days..I am just so tired of this crap.)

- thanks ladies.

I know sweetie, it's not fair that we have to suffer like we do, but at least here, we have each other, and have others around us that understand where we are at.
