Just put a new photo up of what the CO2 surgery 1 and 2 look like so far. Surgery 1 is about 99% healed and surgery 2 is about 95 % healed. The tape is starting to give him tape burns though. I told him i think he could go with out the telfa pad or the abd pad really since he wears a depend for all the other booboos that havnt been touched yet to give his skin a break before he has surgery number 3 in july. This pic didnt quite do it justice but the healed area is actually a nice pink healthy scar color which is better then the rest of the areas he has.

Golly, The pictures are amazing! The latest one took me aback at first until I looked at the earlier ones again. It brought home how severe it was and how much improvement has been made since his first surgery.

It boggles my mind to think about how severe the HS was and how hard it had to be to live with that for so long. I can't even imagine and I have had extensive groin surgery. I still wonder how it is to tolerate such deep laser surgery.

How is your knee, by the way? I hope it is healing well now, and have you been able to start PT yet?

Take care of both of you,

Yes it is amazing and hope it continues till they are done with all the CO2 surgerys. Especially the 2nd one since it was so deep and almost healed. My knee is doing ok, i finished pt last week and next monday im joining our local swimming pool/ fitness center to continue with my therapy. Walking for more then 5-10 minutes is still hard but mostly cause of my asthma i have to work it up and hoping it improves like it did in pool like when i had my left knee replaced in 2010. And this unusual 90+ weather in ohio in May is very weird normally i get to adjust to the hotter temp with spring but seems weve skipped spring and went straight to summer. Sad

Melissa, The pics look great! Please let C-Bear Wink know that we LOVE looking at the progress on his bum. I also hope that he can heal up as much as possible before tackling surgery number 3. The skin looks incredible, compared to the "before" pics! Laughing <3 Candace
