I (35 year old) am with a 42 old man who is rather simple and very immature at times. He is a vulnerable adult by some standards, has a mental disability, but claims to be independent - and does have his own apartment across the parking lot from mine. He has very little experience with intimacy and gets frustrated with himself for "making mistakes" and is just hard on himself. This is not attractive to me. We are both virgins, and have done a lot in intimacy together so far ... we took a shower together for the first time tonight, fun. But, when he gets tired, the immature kid comes out and its awful. I feel I'm stuck with him, and I am very attracted to him, but this mentoring crap I have to do has to go! What do I do about my frustration with intimacy? Is it dangerous to be with a grown-up kid?
