Hello, Friends!

I am trying to help my sister whose daughter has MG. I have MS myself so I deal with pain on a daily basis.

Anyway, my neice, Alicia, has MG and was denied medicaid and disablility. How can this be? Alicia is not a reliable employee. They live in Atlanta. Please provide some advice. I appreciate all responses. My sister has exhausted all funds for the care of her daughter. On top of that, she has to purchase a new/newer car due to her vehicle having mechanical issues that would be too costly to repair.

Thank you very much and stay blessed!!!

Carlisa

Thank you for the information. If my sister had $300/month I am sure this would not be a problem. My neice cannot work a full week and is at the hospital at least once a month. She cannot even travel to come see her auntie.

PCIP, No, your plan is NOT the new PCIP plan that took effect under the Affordable Care Act. You and I discussed that in a very recent thread.

In order to see if you qualify for the new pcip plan that IS offered by the govt., please go to Healthcare.gov.
