Dear Dr,

I'm a 25 y old student, to be honest for me, especially because i'm an asian, talking about sex or genital is not common. I had a sex for a first time with my boy friend in November 2006, since i was still virgin at that time, my vagina was bleeding, The next day after that, my boy friend tried again but it was still bleeding so he stopped. it was constantinously bleeding for 4 days but not much (only small spot at the 2nd until the 4th day). Last February, I met him again (he lived in different city) and he tried to put his fingers inside, and had sex and suddenly my vagina was bleeding again (but it stopped after he stopped), it was not like menstruation, it was small amount and diluted. Until now he is so scared because he thougt that i had a health problems or something. I wanted to go to gynecolog, but i feel scared and shy since i never went there before and i don't know how to explain it to the gynecolog. I never feel pain or itchi in my vagina and i always have regular menstruation. I'm afraid that there is something wrong and i couldn't have babies. My BF and I are really serious to be married and have children.

Please answer my question, thank you

Hi

First of all I want to encourage you ....that you shouldn't feel unconfortable talking to a doctor. He would only try to help you .So ,I suggest that you go to a woman gynecologist, this way maybe you will feel much more confortable.

Don't be shy about it, a lot of women got thru it and you'll see that in the end everything will be settled and you'll be more relaxed with your boyfriend.
