I had Tfcc double tears in each wrist, double surgeries 2 years ago one month apart, the pain in my left wrist is still terrible, I used to be a picture framer. I cried every day for a year and all my doctor would or could do was write more prescriptions for pain meds, add the fact my husband divorced me and then I had no insurance to pay for the hand therapy after. There were many times when I wished myself to be dead due to the pain and the fact I could do nothing with either hand, I couldn't even turn the key ignition in my car! To not be able to use your hands is something that takes away a persons everything, confidence, self esteem, add the fact you have to rely on assistance from your family and friends for everything, I still pray every day for the pain to go away.
