Can anyone tell me where I can find a doctor that does pain management in the Polk County Texas area? I would appreciate any suggestions. Thank you!

there's a big pain management center at Renaissance Hospital in Houston:

http://houston.renhealthcare.org/pain.htm

i believe they have others, as well:

http://www.renhealthcare.org/ - click on Hospitals to se other locations.

but it all depends on what kind of pain it is: neurologic, spine, cancer.

since it's not a very common specialty, i don't know if you'll find a pain management specialist in Polk County specifically.

there's also home care, and they serve your area, but they're nurses, not doctors (they do pain management, though; and they work with insurance companies):

http://www.appliedhealthcare.com/

what type of pain are you in, exactly?
