Hello Sir,

my question is regarding my Brother Vinuth P's eye problem.

He is 20 years of age,He was involved in a Motorbike accident on 13-JAN-07.

was addmitted to one of best hospitals in Bangalore, INDIA.

He was treated there for over 2 weeks,

He did recover from the injuries but lost his Right eye Vision.

As per the doctor(Opthalmologist), His Right eye fundus examination showed

infrared retina with large clot in vitreous in front of the disc due to right

optic nerve avulsion or central retinal artery occlusion.

as per the hospital Doctors there is no treatment for this problem in any part of the world,

they say the research is going on for this kind of eye problem (Damaged Optic nerve).

I would like to know whether there is treatment for this vision problem,

either by means of surjery or medicine.

I am currently living in Florida, U.S.A, If at all there is any treatment for this problem

then I will call him to U.S from india for further treatment.

I have attached his medical records for your reference.

I will appritiate your quick answer and advice in this regard.

Thanks in advance,

Kusuma
