Hello,

I have been living with CRPS/RSD for about 2 years now and have yet to find one doctor that has even a small clue about this disorder. Dr. Kirkpatrick, who heads up the RSD foundation is fairly close to me and I did see him but he doesn't accept regular patients. (though they neglected to tell me this when i called for the appt to see him) His medical care starts at diagnosis and stops at the sympathetic blocks and obviously someone with CRPS needs a physician that can do more than a few shots. PT,medications etc. are all the norm and necessary for someone with this but i've had no luck in finding a good doctor as of yet.(after 2 yrs of looking I might add) So if anyone has any info PLEASE let me know, any help would be so so so appreciated!

Hi.. My name is Craig I was diagnoses with RSD in 1999

And Have tried to find someone who can help, and so far nothing..... no pain management Dr.s have helped either.

All they want to do is give you drugs and send you home.

I have tried all of them also...right now I am in deep withdrawal from "fentayl" I think that is how you spell it, and it is hell.... really only made things worse..

My pain was worse and more often it went off the charts.... pain level 1 to 10 and 10 being the worset... Well let me tell you 10 is not the worse.....

If you by chance would like to talk.. please write back....

Craig..

ps.. yes I have now be diagnosed with some other things tooooo..... lucky me.....

I have had RSD since 1981. It is tough to live with but options are not there. Pain management is a joke. Physicians don't know anything. It is war with RSD and only one of you win. For me, I won and will not allow RSD to ruin my life.

Hi peanut,

you should go to http://www.mdjunction.com/reflex-sympathetic-dystrophy

first they ignore you
then they laugh at you
then they fight you
then you win.
