I had the most horrendous Dr.'s appt today with a Dr. who did not even examine me to determine my needs. She had a preconceived notion of who I was and she was remiss in her exam of me... My BP was high 160/110 and she never checked my eyes or my throat . I had a fever and she never checked my glands or my ears... I complained of pain in my leg and back and she never examines my back and barely even looks at my leg and that is with my clothes on. My favorite thing is when she walked out in the middle of the exam and at when I tried to talk to her about my medication she walked out of the room and said she would not talk to me...

Needless to say, I was upset about her treatment with me and am doing all that I can to report her to the proper authorities for her lack of concern.....

It sounds like she has no bedside manners; however, this does not constitute a medical complaint. You should immediately change doctors. Do not put your health into the hands of someone who is not paying close attention to your health and needs and your concerns. Check his/her license out with the board and any public record and do the same with any new doctor you decide to go with. We have to proactive and check out doctors on our own. After all, they are human and also make mistakes. www.medicalcomplaint.blogspot.com

Take care.

i'm sorry you had such a bad experience,. you certainly can report it to the medical board. YOU pay for that time, she shouldn't walk out. She is to give you an exam. We "hire" our docs here.... she'd be lucky to get a wake up call now, rather than a law suit later for over looking something major.... I have some ducks that are quite lucky for that... misdiagnosed several times, and now I have a chronic condition, that might not be able to be treated... I might be sick for the rest of my life, and I am only 29! Thank you arrogant ducks!
Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.
