Hi, Sweettea. Hope you didn't get any cold feet before, and nothing came up, so you can share the experience with us now... I too want to do them both at the same time, not to be put under twice, and in general, to fix everything in one single, painful go.

I'm scheduled for my final meeting with the surgeons on May, 19th, and if everything goes as planned, I shall be in surgery shortly after. How I understood it, there will be two surgeons, working on my two parts at the same time. A friend of my mother's had it done some years ago by a single surgeon, that operated first on her breasts, and then on her nose, so it took much longer this way.

I could really use the advice and the input of somebody who's done it already, and your fresh experience is exactly what I need.

How do you feel now? How do you look?

Karin,

Hello! I'm glad I can give you some fresh input with my new experience. It sounds like you have done your research and made a very wise choice by having two surgeons performing each operation. I was under general anesthesia for around 5 hours. I dont really remember much except for getting the IV and walking into the operating room. Today is day 4 and I got to get the packing out of my nose today. Honestly, it was very uncomfortable to say the least but not everyone has to have packing. My energy level has been very low and I'm wondering if my headache will ever subside. My eyes are a beautiful shade of fushia, purple and yellow. My breasts look fabulous! I love them and there not even healed yet. I haven't had very much discomfort with them at all. I'm a stomach sleeper so its been hard sleeping on my back. I was very scared about the anesthesia but really that was the easy part, its' the recovery that's time consuming. I cant wait to see my new nose which will be revealed on Tuesday!! I'll keep you posted. Hope this helped.

Hey again. Although you say your energy level is low, you managed to transmit a good mood and optimism with your few lines.

So, finally, did you have two surgeons perform on you as well?

Did it hurt? Does it hurt now? Are you on any pain killers? How did you feel after you woke up from the anesthesia? Did you adjust easily to your new chest size and weight?

You said you removed the packing already, so what exactly happens on Tuesday?

And yes, your post did help. I'm a bit less terrified now of the whole thing.

Waiting for news, good luck on Tuesday!

Hey, yes I am very relieved the procedure is over and I am on the road to recovery. I had one surgeon who performed both procedures first the breast, then the nose. The nose has definately been the most bothersome for me, not that it hurts because it really doesn't it's just the worst stuffy cold you can imagine and having a splint on the nose with the swelling just feels very throbby. When I woke up from the anesthesia I dont even remember getting home or waking up the next day its like you almost have amnesia for the first couple days because I was taking pain medicine for the first 48 hours. The augmentation has come along fantastic. I didn't feel pressure or anything. I was a small b cup and now after 350cc saline I'm a full c. I chose to have the incision under the breast, the incision line is a little purple and sore. My breast feel very full and tight and I have no nipple sensation back yet. On Tuesday I have the sutures removed under my nose and breast and the cast comes off!! Please let me know if I can help your fears in anyway. I was a nervous wreck!

Oh, you've already helped ease away my fears, although I'm still a nervous wreck. Your story gave me courage and made me feel much, much better about the whole thing.

How was the "uncovery"? Did you regain feeling in your nipples already?

Really, really curious.

The uncovery went very well. It felt like you were plucking your eyebrows but under your nose when the stitches came out. I haven't regained all the feeling back in the tip of my nose yet. The nipples are starting to feel a little sensitivity now so that's good. My surgeon says it just takes a while for those nerves to come back after being cut through. I would say my energy is almost back to 100%. I drove yesterday for the first time and I didn't realize just by turning the steering wheel how much you use those muscles in your chest. Each day it gets a little better.
