I am a really busy graduate student, lost track of time, and missed the first five days in a new pill pack of Yasmin. This was only my second month taking birth control ( don't know if that makes a difference). I have now been taking the pills on schedual for four more days (so i am in my seccond week). I haven't had any spotting or breakthrough bleeding. I am in a new relationship and we have been have sex A LOT durring this time. I read something that said that even if you missed 7 pills, you still have a relatively low chance of ovulating and thereby getting pregnant. Is this true?

Hi gardengirl83,

my girlfriend misses her pills all the time, and I'm yet to have a baby while i've heard of woman taking the pill and getting pregnant.

i guess its all based on your body and the guy's sperm.

best to take the pills on time. and you can always take a pregnancy test... (wouldn't do any harm).

have fun with the new bboy (sounds like you do
