Hey folks,

We are having a baby in a few months.... and I have heard such horror stories about ear infections in babies. I just cannot imagine our little one going through such pain.

Is there anything to prevent or cure it ?

You're scaring me here a little. We're having our first baby soon, and I've heard of so many things that can go wrong... colics, rashes, jaundice... but ear infections is not one of them. Worried now, gotta research this. I'll get back here if I find anything worth mentioning.

I have three childrean and the only one that had problems with ear infections was my oldest daughter.

Breastfeeding, instead of bottle feeding with formula can often greatly reduce the number of ear infections, as well as things like colds, etc. that baby can get.
