I'm not a specialist, but I really don't think that's possible. That movie was totally sci-fi, and so are many others who deal with the topic. A more realistic hollywoodian view on that has the show "Nip/Tuck", who doesn't exagerrate too much. I've seen horribly mutilated victims of accidents and burns, and the plastic surgery isn't able to help THEM much. I don't think that a doctor is able to crack your skull and remodel it like a piece of plastiline. I mean... come on! And even if, for the sake of argument, they WOULD be able to do it... would you really go through that just to feel better about your head? I'm even afraid to get a nose job. |
