I just want to share my story with people having the same kind of problem I've been experiencing -ACNE.

I am 31 years old and I experienced acne 8 month ago, for the first time. All my life I had a very sensitive skin, but I've never known how problematic can be to have acne. All my life was radically changed in a negative way- personal and professional life.

I haven't tried all kind of treatments, but most of tratments from the market. I've even changed my diet, which was good for my general health but my acne was still so bad. I ordered on line the most expensive systems of treatment for acne from Canada and US. Nothing worked. I even used all types of natural treatments such as yolk, etc nothing really worked.

One day, I decided to go to see a doctor (not a specialist, but a family one). The doctor prescribed me a simple treatment -a cream named -STIEVAMYCIN. I paid only $12.00 dollars for this treatment.

All I had to do was to be PATIENT...the cream works deep under the skin, so I kept using it during the night, even that I was so disappointed not to see any result for almost one month.

After 4 weeks, the results started to be noticed and day by day my skin was more clear. The only secondary effect for this treatment is that your skin can become dry (exfoliating) and irritated sometimes. To control this problem, I used, during the day, a hidratating cream for sensitive skin.

I am so happy now having my skin back to normal. I don't know why I didn't go to see a doctor from the beginning; maybe because we see all kind of "miraculous" treatments on TV??!! Now I realize that acne is a skin problem that can be successfully treated and kept under control. Ask your doctor about this!

Good luck to all of you!

Thanks for this info, Diana. I'm 14 and almost a year ago I got a really bad case of acne, and believe it or not, I keep it under control through diet. It's much better when I eat all the veggies from the plate and when I don't eat fried stuff, junk food or chocolate. As soon as I switch to a "meatier" diet and start eating regular junk I know I'm gonna get it back in 2 days tops. So... when I feel like looking good, I eat healthy. My mom loves it that she finally found a way to keep my diet under control.

But I'm gonna look into what you said, maybe there's an easier way to keep my face clean.

I'll tell you if it works for me.

Fried food definitely has an effect on your face. It shows when what you've been eating is less than healthy. I recommend protiens and vegies with lots of fiber. Have you tried benefiber lately?
