>>> There is an idea... you could train the dog to pull a little wagon with your tank in it... <<<<

Funny, my husband said the same thing EXCEPT that he was figuring about 6 mini Chihuahuas all harnessed together.

I am aware that the dog needs to be large and full grown. The tanks weigh less than I thought... THEY feel heavy especially after carrying them for hours. My current tank weighs 5 pounds according to a chart that I found. Sinc...

When it is not obvious what service an animal provides, only limited inquiries are allowed. Staff may ask two questions:

(1) is the dog a service animal required because of a disability, and

(2) what work or task has the dog been trained to perform. (If the answer might be too personal, one might answer, to help with disability.

Staff cannot ask about the person’s disability, require medical documentation, require a special identification card or training documentation for the do...

We have a family living with us that has a dog that looks so PIT BULL that a blood test was done to verify that he's golden lab and german shepherd. They also have a female german shepherd that I was hoping was pregnant but I believe that has been ruled out at this point.

I do understand the concern of 'bully' dogs. One benefit of carrying heavy tanks, it would slow a dog down some. :)...

I have personally known (over Internet) at least 3 people that have written books and sold them on eBay. (counting you) One of them, I helped her through the Internet so got a signed copy a mention in her appreciation page . Editing to say that I have been mentioned in 2 of the books. (I guess I crave notoriety or I'd have been fine saying nothing.)

W/o the Internet, I'd not have met these people. Now I'm going to your Poodles can do that page .Post edited by: TamieJP, at: ...

I don't plan on moving UPHILL anytime soon. It's difficult enough to walk on level ground.

At WalMart today, I was looking at clothes on a rack. All of a sudden I felt a flip from in front of me to my rear side. It was tough but I did not fall....

The place was kinda loud and busy, more so than I imagined. It was crowded and there was lots of noise from people laughing and the accordion player playing polka music while children did the chicken dance, but Gatsby handled it like a pro and stayed calm and close to me the whole time. We even got compliments from the people at the table next to us on how well Gatsby was behaving!

Sounds like a pro to me! Congratulations to both of you!!!...

I started training Snoopy for my husband. I chose him (free) because he would not get over 20 pounds, could jump high and had a large enough body structure to pick up remotes or phones. Mark also would have benefited greatly from having a constant companion.

I was very pleased with his training but my husband absolutely rebelled against Snoopy. We have many visiting dogs whose behavior is much more problematic but he has no problem with them. I think it was the idea that I thought a ser...

I have a friend's dog that pushes my human helpers away when I am so dizzy and nearly unable to stand even with two adults to hang onto. I wish she could be my SD. She already knows my needs. I can't take her though. She's a child with autism step into the world. As I've made clear, she's a great dog. German Shepherd....
