Hi pravosla68, First, I would like to welcome you to the group! I have the same issues with my eyes and lids that you mentioned. I reccommend an over the counter lubricant (eye drop). It is usually a combination of polythylene and propylene. It comes in 'single serving' vials so it wont get contaminated. It really helps me with the burning and eye fatique too. Good luck!-countrymouse

Thanks. Right now the opthamologist suggested Systane. It does not help the crustiness, however. DOes the polythylene/proplene help this?

Actually, Systane is what I've been using. I have no new answers for the crustiness, sorry about that! The Systane seems to help mine. Can you call your docter and ask if there is something else you can use?

pravosla68, I was going through the internet today looking for possible solution for the eye discomfort you are still having and I came across this site. http://www.localharvest.org/store/item.jsp?id=4450

It seems to be all natural products, and maybe what your looking for. I would check with your docter first, just to make sure that they are not incompatible with what he's reccommened. Hope this helps!cmouse
