GERD Support Group

Hi all,

Can anyone else share with me if they have had breath issues since their GERD or LPR reared its head??? I do and it has been about six months of living **** for me. Along with other symptoms, such as pain in my gums and jaw when eating, sensitive to hot and cold foods. Throat issues, sinus issues, digestive problems galore. Yet the breath odor is likely the most EMBARRASSING thus far as it impacts my socialization which I need to keep on each day.

I have tried everything to get rid of the breath, to no avail. I am wondering if it may be a bad crown or if I need a deep scaling/root planing....or is this common of LPR (what I supposedly have) and/or GERD?

I heard it can be - so then there are people with this condition that do not have bad breath? What makes the difference? The LPR messes with my sinus so perhaps that has to do with the problem. I am unsure, but want to get rid of this part of the issue, does anyone have any success in eliminating the bad breath aspect of this problem? Also, could I have H. Pylori? The doctor gave me medication for H Pylori without any tests. Does anyone with this GERD/LPR have sluggish digestion? Does this ever get better? Please let me know - thanks!

BTW they do have baking soda gum at Amazon. I just looked for the heck of it. Not sure if I will order it or not, but I may try it. I would do about anything to get rid of this breath.
