Genital Herpes Online Support Group

I was recently diagnosed with genital herpes and I'm devastated. I've been with my boyfriend for more than five years and my boyfriend before him was 8 years ago. My current boyfriend got tested and he is negative. It just doesn't seem possible that I could have this for 8 years and I'm just now having my 'classic' outbreak. My boyfriend and I have been very active until now. Now I am terrified I will give it to him and that since our sex life will have to be changed so drastically that he'll be resentful. Does anyone have a similar situation? I just don't ever see myself getting over this.
