I am a new member finding my way around this site. I was diagnosed in 2002 with appendix cancer and Type 1 gaucher disease. I am always searching for more and more information on gaucher disease. My platelets average around 50,000 and the fatigue and tiredness is difficult. I took zavesca for a few years but went off. I look forward to returning to this site and thank you all for being here.

Hi Ginny, My name is Erica and I am new here too! I was diagnosed a few months ago. I dont have low platelet count like you but have bone lesions with a lot of associated pain as well as some lung involvement. It's interesting how people can have the same disease but present with many different symptoms!
