Gastroparesis Online Support Group

I guess I am having a flareup with gp. My stomach is killing me but I am not sick to my stomach yet. Anyone have suggestions on how to get it to settle down before a full blown attack happens? I just got over a bout with it 6 weeks ago and that lasted over 4 months. In the hosp 3 times and called a drug addict because I asked for pain meds and they couldn't figure out what to do to help. Husband asked if I needed to go to get it treated early and I won't go.

I am traveling today and will be about 20 hrs away from my dr. I am trying to get help for migraines so now is not the time for this junk!

HELP!

I've been having a bit of pain the last couple of days myself. I've tried crystalized ginger, but that helps mostly with the nausea and not the pain. The pain isn't steady for me yet, so I've just been massaging the area where it's hitting most. Can't say that really helps much though. I'm sorry I don't have anything concrete to help you.
