Hi! I've now added another support group to my list. My father (age 57) was just diagnosed 2 weeks ago w/ stage 4 stomach cancer which spread to his rectum. He received his first chemo treatment last week so far he's doing okay, a little bit of nausea & he's somewhat lost a bit of his appetite but found he can tolerate soups. It was hard to find out that news when you have another parent (my mother) who is also receiving treatment for breast cancer. I really don't know what to expect from his cancer but I'm trying to learn as much as possible as he's going thru this.
