I guess my concerns are like how am I going to be after surgery. I hear so much it kind of scares me and makes me wonder if I should do it but inside I know I want to get it done for me.

I have my surgery in 11 days. I am like you, just trying to figure out the unknown's. From what I hear everyone reacts differently. Nice to talk to someone going through it. Mine will be laperscopic as well. I'll let you know how I feel in 11 days...Sooooooooo Nervous!!!

from what ive seen at the hospital most(not all) complications are preventable. open surgery can cause more complications but the choice is yours unless you are to big.

I don't think I am to big I am at about 296lbs. I just rather have the surgeon working hands on than looking at a screen. I'm doing this surgery for health reasons and personal reasons.
