thanks.. surgery went well i guess... although still dont know the reason for the pain. No hernia was found and no ulcer. my "pouch" was really inflamed and swollen... but not sure why. they have me on some meds sooo maybe it will help. Still very sore... but doing good. Thanks for the well wishes

I to am having debilitating stomach pains a year after bypass. The pain intensifies and comes like contractons lasting weeks at a time. Everyday I hurt but it comes and goes with such an intensity that I go to the ER and they say they do not know what is wrong. They dope me up and send me home and treat me as I am there only of the drugs! I do not want to keep taking pills- I want to be fixed! Last June my stomach ruptured and I had liquified intestines and liver. In hospital June until Aug. No food or water Jun to Oct.

If anyone else knows what it is and what to do please contact me.
