I am about to get my last 24 teeth pulled and get a complete set of implants. At the expense of about $40,000!!!!! It's killing us, my husband just retired. At my age, if I got regular dentures, the bone would eventually shrink away to pretty much nothing and full dentures can only be relined so many times and then there is nothing to adhere the dentures to and I'm REALLY toothless. How much of your esophagus was removed? I hope I'm not being to nosy, I just don't know much about the procedure. Some GBS patients have trouble with extreme nausea because the opening to their stomach pouch is too narrow. The fix is endoscopy and the doc can stretch opening a bit wider. Discuss this with your doctor, he/she may know what is causing... There are a million steps to go through but I know that it's for the best as they work very hard to prepare you for not only surgery, but life after.
