Welcome to the group. I'm REALLY glad you're getting into the doc on Monday. Hopefully, he'll make you feel more at ease.
I have Lupus showing up as sometimes being possitive, and sometimes negative. As well as speckled pattern, etc, etc.
You stated that you don't have any skin issues. Do a little internet reseach, and you'll find that there are a couple different types of Lupus.
Try and hang in there!! And, know that you can come here and share, vent, or ask questions. We'll be here for ya...

I take a tylenol and imovane before bed for sleep and I take plaquenil to deal with the photosensitity and lupus. This balance seems to be working so far....

Thank you so much for responding to me. So far I am not having any luck with the meds that he has placed me on. But It has only been a week or so. I have more sores around my hairline and my hair is still falling out. I am about to call my doctor because I am starting to freak out a little. Thank you for this group!!...

Well! Welcome!-to our world. My suggestion is to explain to your family-chilren-that you are not feeling well right now and need their help. You will be suprised at how well children will want to be of help when you tell them you NEED them! God speed in your flare my dear!...

:s Sucks to be on the rollercoaster of no diagnosis. My little bucket of possibilities! As I like to call it. And until they figure out what is wrong, the right meds combo is out of reach. I've heard lyme is bad when you go thru the detox part of it. Or the killing of the lyme critters as someone told me. ;) Keep trying to figure it out and I hope you do finally get some kind of answer no matter what it is. Good luck and hugs....

Hi..In the beginning everything is scary. After a while you do calm down, even though some days are aggravating, and just live. I hope that you have gotten a second opinion on your diagnosis too. Just to let you know my Aunt is 77 with Lupus (had since she was 14) and a good friend of the family is 82 with FM. So life is doable. They are my role models for a long time. BTW it is okay to cry every now and then..just get it out and refocus. Then move forward. Hopefully, there will be a cure someti...

So sorry to hear about your daughter dealing with these issues so young. My Mom has had Lupus and RA for 30+ years and I got formally diagnosed at 30 but started having symptoms in my mid 20s that I managed for a few years with diet and exercise but then it got way out of control in the last 18 months. My hormones definitely make things worse and the best thing I did for myself is use a Nuvaring constantly so I don't have to deal with a monthly cycle or hormone fluctuations that always flared mi...

Its hard to pull yourself up and trudge through the day in pain pretending like life is just dandy. ...I use some Prozac to keep me a little calmer and it seems to help. Im PMSing and in lots of pain the last few days so I get it!!!
Welcome either way, I'm usually a little more pleasant :o)...
