MDJunction to me

Joy75"MDJunction to me is a second home. I visit daily to support and get supported. Everyone is so great here. The people are what make this site so
perfect. When someone says I helped them, I feel so good about myself. When
I am down, I come here to talk with my lovely friends. This is a great site
and I’ve come to love it and my friends here. Thank you for making such a
wonderful place to call home!

I really thought I was the only one until today. I have had fibromyalgia for a year and a half. I have had migranes for the past year. I had no clue this could all be connected.

Hope I can be of help and well as help and support others going through the same things.

Hi Mary, you are not alone. I am new here too. In fact I just posted yesterday. I got fibro. 20 years ago. At least that was when I was diagnosed and I was 17. I am certain that I got it at age 12. That's when I started to get sick. I started to get migraines at age 17 too. I went off to college and they got worse. I spent one year in college, met my husband, got married that summer, and the migraines hit their high point. We were in the Army then and the wait in the ER was 4-5 hours everytime just to get a shot to knock me out. Then I was able to sleep it off. Not an easy to start out a marriage. Amazingly we're still together 18 years later. lol Well take care.

Love,

chickiepoo
