I live in northeast ohio Cleveland it is the most horrible place to live if u have FMS and migraines because if u r like me my body responds to the weather espeically rainy and cold weather. It has been rainy all day I woke up with a migraine and my hands r very stiff and cold (raynaud's grrrrrrrr!) makes ir hard for me to type for long. Does anyone else get like this when the weather is bad? It is so irratating!!! Angry Devil Angry

The northeast weather (I live in upstate NY) is definitely not conducive to those who have fibro and migraines. I hate anything below 45 and above 80 (I know, a really small range) but because spring and fall don't last for long anymore, that lovely time frame is practically nonexistent in comparison to the torture months (winter and summer). The weather can't be helped unless you move though, and that definitely isn't easy to do.

Bad weather stinks!

I'm a 20 year old college student with Asperger's and fibromyalgia ...

I'm not a doctor, so please don't treat my advice like it's from a doctor. I just have a lot of experience with this stuff, that's all.

The southeast isn't much better. My body feels like a barometric pressure gauge. I can tell when there's a front coming in or leaving. The pain is SO MUCH WORSE! I've started getting really irritated by doctors when they look at me funny when I tell them the weather changing makes me hurt worse.
Hope will move mountains, even when all hope seems lost.

The weather adversely affects all my conditions yet especiall the fibro, migraines, cfs & my back challenges from the scoliosis, absolutely!! Rain, cold weather, humidity and stormy weather- all have a negative impact on this batgirl!!

When it is warm and dry yet not humid- then feel the best of all.

When said to my doctor about the weather effecting me she really understood which was great. Hope you find some doctors who think like my doctors HisPearl11, really soon!!

Live in Devon in South West England in the UK.

Sending super gentle hugs to all fibromites migraineurs, love Clarita Wink ( just getting over a migraine)
